Waiting….

My creative space is waiting for inspiration to strike…….
I’m all ready to go! This canvas is so perfect, the shape is just so appealing to me, I really want to do it justice and paint something great on it – no pressure!
The second granny shrug isn’t taking shape as fast as the first, perhaps because I have the first one to wear so I am not so obsessed??

Did you hear on the grape vine today is my 100th post? I decided to do a giveaway to celebrate the 99th so feel free to pop over and put your name in the hat.

Creativity abounds over at Kirsty’s. I’m off to see if inspiration strikes me as browse around the creative spaces. Perhaps someone has a nice colour scheme on a quilt or a beautiful glaze on their ceramics that will take my eye and bring a painting to life?

  1. It's still yesterday in my part of the world so I still have a whole sleep to go before I need to be inspired. My 2nd shrug took a bit longer too but it was complimented twice today so worth the effort.
Good luck finding your muse. I'm sure it will be along soon.

  10. Oh how I love a big white blank canvas. I'm all about yellow at the moment. Mind you this morning I saw some soft blues and purples and though I might try something in softer shades for a change.

    Happy 100 posts to you.

  18. Can't wait to see what inspiration strikes you! I sometimes think the 'pondering' part of creating, coming up with all the ideas, mulling over everything you could do, is more fun than the actual doing (call me nuts today!!) I think that's the really exciting part..... on par with celebrating the result at the end!

    Have a lovely weekend!
