Disappointment…
Today was a painting day, I was so excited to have the time, but not terribly inspired. I jumped in and started painting anyway, sometimes that works for me, not today…..
I’ve been pondering as the painting turned sour and especially since I decided to scrap today’s work. I have learnt and reiterated some good lessons. There is always a bright side!
I think I shall share some of my pondering over the next few days.

Some days things just don't want to work... looking forward to seeing your perspective on ponderings!
ReplyDeleteut-oh :( Hope your pondering gets the painting juices flowing
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely share the ponderings. I will be interested to read and learn.
ReplyDeletesometimes you just have to step away and do something else, until the mood strikes again!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had a disappointing day. It's always such a bummer when that happens. But I trick I have learned to do, is let the painting sit for a bit, sometimes months. When I do that, I either end up liking the piece or I figure out a way to fix it.
ReplyDeleteAt least you jumped in and tried. :)
I hope it eventually works out for you!
creativity can sometimes be like a wave, it waxes and wanes. Don't fret it is the natural flow of things.
