Spending time creating feeds my soul. I need it and I am so grateful to have a life that grants me the time and resources to indulge.
I’m feeling quite vulnerable sharing this photo of me, but I am determined to face some of my fears and share more of myself.
Well, I am glad you have shared your beautiful photo with us. It is lovely to see you! Blessings to you! Suzie xxx
ReplyDeleteLoving your work shirt. I have a shirt that I work in too. So splattered and messy but it fills me with joy to wear it ... like wearing a photo album of my creative journey - each paint splash represents a destination that I've been and maps where I may perhaps go.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Yes it's lovely to see what you look like. I love that sentence "I feel so comfy in this shirt, in this space". Good for you for putting yourself out there.
ReplyDeleteyay!! love it, love it, love it!
ReplyDeletehugs to you Kylie, well done on the stepping out of the comfort zone.

I think I need a special crafty apron.....
ReplyDeleteHey Kylie - hats off to you - love to see you in a comfy shirt and out of your PJs LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think it is good for all of us to get out of our comfort zones sometimes. Good for you Kylie for sharing. Was doing a bit of painting last week and got green paint on my shirt, pants and jumper!! Couldn't believe it!
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I hate photos of myself. I know it's that mirror thing but I never look how I think I look. My freckles are on the wrong side and and the parting in my hair just looks all wrong. However I do like to see pictures of bloggers when I 'talk' to them. Maybe none of us are how other people see us.
ReplyDeleteOoh I think I was on the verge of saying something deep and meaningful there, but maybe not.
By the way I love that little bird pendant. I nearly left a comment about that when you posted it but that was before I knew you. It's just gorgeous.

I know an artist who wipes his brushes on his shirt in his armpit - his wife thinks she should cut the shirt up and sell it as works of art!! Nice to see your photo .... if you click on my profile, you should see a photo of me doing three of my favourite things - on holiday, eating in a lovely restaurant .... and raising a glass of wine to say cheers to my friends!!
ReplyDeleteI like the pic. But then I already knew you were beautiful 'cause I get to see you all the time. Little Guy must have been asleep or elsewhere for you to be looking so serene! : )
ReplyDeleteLovely to "meet" you Kylie! I didn't realise you were so young! Great photo.
