Can you see it?

I’d love to know what, if anything, you see in this little abstract pair.  Shhh if you have been following the conversation over here.  I want to see if anyone else comes up with the same thought!

I painted the first in the pair as a purely abstract form.  But once the first person mentioned the image they saw, there seems to be no getting away from it!  I must admit I was a little led by this thought as I painted the pair…..

I haven’t named them yet, so if a title jumps out at you, please share.

I’m looking forward to finding a quiet moment this afternoon to sit down with a cuppa and check out all of this week’s creativity.

  1. Beautiful, I popped over to the discussion and I can see it. Maybe "nurture" ?? I also think it looks like a spool of thin crochet thread, maybe because I just bought some :P...

  2. Couldn't see it until I read the facebook comments, and now it's most definitely there!! It's like those black and white pictures that show two different things depending on how you look at them (a vase or two faces for example). Different people see different things! How interesting!

  3. They look like little purple roses to me, or purple moons.
Love these colours together, they are divine :)

  6. I saw a moon to start with but the FB idea is definitely visible with some prompting. Nurture definitely sounds good too. Anothe BF fan. Cherrie

  7. Before I read the facebook comments, I saw chopsticks and a small bowl for rice. But that could also be because I had Chinese food for dinner :-)

  8. I think they look like lovely breasts and I haven't checked the fb discussion to see if that's on the right track but I agree that 'nurture' sounds nice. Thanks for visiting my creative space too.
