Country graveyard shadows….

I like to wander and explore in old country graveyards, on a recent visit I realised it was good shadow hunting territory…... William & Wilhemina Schulze rest together here, sharing shadows as the sun passes overhead.

To find out what the other shadow hunters have been up to this week head on over to Hey Harriet.

  1. It's so interesting to wander around the old areas in cemetaries. I visited a few in Tassie last time I visited. They were really old.

  3. The ornate iron fence allows the resting place to stand apart, to allow the viewer to perhaps imagine the importance of these lives, their impact. To be set apart from the others here may mean something, that their lives were important, indeed...

  5. That's lovely. I enjoy exploring graveyards also. I can happily wander around for hours at the Dutton Park one or Toowong. I haven't explored any old country ones yet though. Must look into that!

  6. I had taken some shadow shots in a graveyard last week - but as I was going to include Mr August in today's post, I thought I would save them for another time!

  7. Fences make great shadows and cemeteries are fabulous places for find neat shapes to photograph. I like the texture the shadow is on too. :)
